Terms of Service

Effective October 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of ronda, the service that lets you change a real web app in plain language and ship the change as a GitHub pull request. Please read them before you use the service.

Who we are

ronda is a service that lets you change a real web app in plain language and ship the change as a GitHub pull request. It is operated by ronda ("ronda", "we", "us"). You can reach us at the email address in the contact section below.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using ronda, including through an AI client such as ChatGPT that you connect to your workspace, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use ronda. If you use ronda on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts and the GitHub connection

You are responsible for your account, your password, and everything done through your workspace, including actions taken by AI clients you connect. Keep your credentials and API keys secret and tell us if you think they were exposed. When you connect GitHub, you authorize ronda to read and write the repositories you choose, and you confirm you have the right to give that access. You can revoke the GitHub connection or any connected AI client at any time.

Acceptable use

Use ronda only for lawful work on code you are allowed to modify. Do not use it to break the law or anyone's rights, to attack, scan or disrupt other systems, to send spam, to mine cryptocurrency, or to run workloads that have nothing to do with editing and previewing your web app. Sandboxes provide limited compute and are meant for building, testing and previewing. Do not try to escape a sandbox, reach other users' data, or get around limits or security controls. We may suspend sandboxes or accounts that put the service or other people at risk.

Your code and content

You keep all rights to your code, repositories and instructions. You give ronda permission to process them only as needed to provide the service, for example to read your repository, run it in a sandbox, apply the changes you ask for, and open pull requests. We do not claim ownership of your code or of the changes made to it. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

Third-party services

ronda works with services you choose to use alongside it: GitHub for your repositories, the model provider your workspace configures with your own API key, and AI clients such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) when you connect them. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. What a connected AI client does with data it receives from ronda is governed by that client's provider.

AI output

Changes are produced by AI models and may be wrong, incomplete or insecure. Review every change and test it before you merge or deploy it. You are responsible for what you merge and ship.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep ronda available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, limit or discontinue features, including usage limits and plan terms, and we will try to give notice of significant changes.

Termination

You can stop using ronda and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we must do so to protect the service, other users or the law. When your account ends, your right to use the service ends, and the sections that by their nature should continue to apply, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, remain in effect.

Disclaimers

ronda is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the service or any AI output will meet your needs, be accurate, or be free of defects or security issues.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ronda is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose, or 100 euros if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, and then they apply only as far as the law permits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will update the effective date above and, where we can, tell you in the product or by email. If you keep using ronda after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
