ronda for ChatGPT

Edit your website from ChatGPT

ronda is an app for ChatGPT that changes your website in plain English. Connect a GitHub repository, ask ChatGPT for a change, review a live preview, then ask for a pull request. Your engineers review and merge it. ronda never merges or deploys.

How it works

From a ChatGPT message to a reviewed pull request

  1. 1

Add ronda in ChatGPT and sign in

Open the ronda app in ChatGPT and sign in. You connect your GitHub account there, so there is nothing to install.

  2. 2

Ask for a change in plain English

Pick a connected repository and describe the change you want. ronda runs your real app in a sandbox and ChatGPT makes the edit.

  3. 3

Review the preview, then ask for a pull request

Check the live preview and the changes card. When you are happy, ask for a pull request. Your engineers review and merge it; ronda never merges or deploys.

Example prompts

  • Change the hero headline on our homepage to "Ship faster with fewer meetings" and show me the preview.

  • The mobile menu overlaps the logo on small screens. Fix it.

  • Give me three headline options for the pricing page and let me compare them.

What you need

A GitHub repository, and nothing else

You need a GitHub repository with a web app in it. You do not need an Anthropic key: when you use ronda from ChatGPT, ChatGPT does the editing. Plan limits for projects and sandboxes are the same as on the web.

Questions

ronda in ChatGPT, answered

Do I need an Anthropic API key to use ronda from ChatGPT?+

No. When you use ronda from ChatGPT, ChatGPT does the editing, so you do not add an Anthropic key. Only the web editor at app.useronda.com uses an Anthropic key, which you connect in your own workspace.

Can ronda merge or deploy my changes?+

No. ronda opens a pull request only when you ask for one. Your team reviews and merges it in GitHub and deploys through your normal process.

What can I change from ChatGPT?+

Copy, styling, layout, and other front-end code in a connected repository: a headline, a button, spacing, a broken mobile menu. You describe the change, see it in a live preview, and iterate before anything becomes a pull request.

Is my code safe?+

Each project runs in its own isolated sandbox. ronda's file-reading and search tools skip secret environment files such as .env. Nothing reaches your repository except a pull request you ask for.

Which repositories work with ronda?+

Single-container web apps on GitHub, such as React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, and Astro projects. ronda starts your real dev server in the sandbox, so the preview matches your app.
